Description For Counterparty Credit Risk Application Developer, AVP

Join Citi's Financial, Risk & Market Technology team as a Counterparty Credit Risk Application Developer. This role sits within the Counterparty Credit Risk Analytics group, responsible for developing applications for derivatives credit risk and exposure calculations Firm-wide. As an AVP-level position, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining critical risk applications, working with Python and C++ model libraries, and contributing to performance optimization and workflow consolidation.

The role offers exposure to advanced technology paradigms like high-performance grid computing and opportunities to collaborate with Front Office Technology, Risk, and Quant groups. You'll be involved in extending test suites, performance profiling, and working on documentation while serving as a technical advisor to junior team members.

Responsibilities For Counterparty Credit Risk Application Developer, AVP

  • Developing and maintaining Counterparty Credit Risk applications using Python and C++
  • Supporting and improving CI/CD (build, testing and release management)
  • Contributing to codebase optimization and workflow consolidation
  • Extending test suites including unit, regression, and integration tests
  • Performance and memory profiling
  • Working with Front Office Quant and Technology teams
  • Analyzing complex problems and providing evaluation of business processes
  • Serving as advisor to new analysts
  • Acting as SME to senior stakeholders

Requirements For Counterparty Credit Risk Application Developer, AVP

Python
  • Experience in programming in Python
  • Experience in systems analysis and software applications programming
  • Familiarity with UNIX shell scripting
  • Proficiency with Git version control
  • Experience in CI/CD pipeline technologies like Jenkins
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Masters Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Physics
