Citi, a leading global financial institution, is seeking a Java Developer to join their Regulatory Hub Core project team in Tampa. This role is part of their Enterprise Operations & Technology division, which is responsible for developing and maintaining the technological foundations that power Citi's global operations. The position focuses on enhancing and implementing a next-generation regulatory reporting system on a global scale.

Responsibilities For Java Developer

  • Design, develop, test and monitor solutions consistent with global project team standards
  • Analyze complex problems and provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards
  • Monitor and control all phases of development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
  • Recommend and develop security measures
  • Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards
  • Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts

Requirements For Java Developer

Java
MongoDB
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in J2EE technologies and architecture including multi-threading
  • Hands-on experience of Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Impala, Spark, Elastic, MongoDB, Spark, Storm, Kafka)
  • Knowledge of NoSQL, RDBMS, Impala and/or Hive
  • Experience in Financial industry will be an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Ability to work with a geographically distributed workforce
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
