Senior Ab-Initio ETL Developer, AVP

Citi's Finance Technology Services team is seeking a Senior Ab-Initio ETL Developer to join their London office in a hybrid role. This position is part of an ambitious initiative to build a next-generation finance solution, working on the creation of an API-based finance platform using innovative technologies. The role involves working on one of the industry's largest transformation products to implement a Single ledger solution for all Citi financial products.

The position offers a significant opportunity for an experienced developer to work with modern Abinitio platforms and collaborate with various development teams, including close interaction with on-site finance teams. The role is crucial in developing data lineage, DQS, and profiling solutions for the SL accounting platform using Abinitio/DQS/MDH technologies.

As a Senior Ab-Initio ETL Developer, you will be responsible for making complex technical decisions, providing technical oversight across systems, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The role requires strong expertise in data lineage, controls, and modern technologies including Hadoop, Hive, and Kafka. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the financial services industry and experience with business intelligence tools.

Working in the Global Strategic Ledger team, you'll be at the forefront of implementing data capabilities under the operational journal platform and next-generation Business Rules platform. This role offers exposure to both Retail Banking products and Wholesale/Investment banking, making it an excellent opportunity for career growth in financial technology.
