Lead Engineer

With a special focus on pet transportation, the platform handles various categories including motorcycles, boats, cars, heavy equipment, and LTL freight across the entire United States.

We're seeking a mission-driven Lead Engineer who will play a crucial role in shaping our product's future while maintaining a hands-on approach to development. This position combines technical leadership with active coding responsibilities, making it perfect for someone who enjoys both strategic planning and practical implementation.

As our Lead Engineer, you'll be responsible for driving technical execution, ensuring code quality, and maintaining engineering velocity. While you may not initially have direct reports, you'll have significant influence over hiring decisions, team development, delivery standards, and engineering processes. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in technical leadership.
