Responsibilities For Principal Machine Learning Engineer, Copilot
- Optimize GenAI technologies, including transformers, embeddings, vector databases, and real-time retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems
- Ensure reliability, observability, and scalability of production ML and GenAI workloads
- Research and investigate external products and technologies identifying emerging trends
- Partner with data engineering, product, infrastructure, and other stakeholder teams
- Drive architecture discussions, design and code reviews
- Implement and evolve critical components of our architecture
- Drive engineering excellence for the orgs in India
- Contribute to hiring strong and diverse talent
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, model registries
- Contribute to internal documentation, onboarding, and training programs
Requirements For Principal Machine Learning Engineer, Copilot
- 13+ years of professional server development experience using Java, Python and other similar object-oriented languages
- Experience in building AI applications and architectures
- Experience with modern AI tools, AnyScale, LLM Orchestrators and Architectures
- Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), infrastructure tooling (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Ray)
- Experience with generative AI technologies
- Proven track record of developing applications for performance and scale
