Description For Senior Software Engineer, Groove Analytics

Clari, a leading provider of Revenue platform solutions, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Groove Analytics team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on state-of-the-art Activity Capture systems and help build out Clari's new Groove Analytics platform, driving the future of revenue technology insights.

The position sits within Clari's Engineering Team, which is dedicated to building an enterprise-grade platform that serves as the backbone for customers' critical business processes. The team follows Agile principles and maintains a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement. Groove, as part of Clari, serves traditionally underserved users who spend 4-6 hours daily interacting with the platform.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll have significant ownership in shaping both the product and its underlying technology. The role requires expertise in various technologies, including Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, or Java/J2EE, and experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases. You'll be working on large-scale applications processing millions of daily transactions and managing terabyte-sized databases.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $225,000, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, mental health support, pre-IPO stock options, and a 401(k) plan. The role is fully remote, with opportunities to work from various US locations including San Francisco Bay Area, Austin, Seattle, Raleigh, Boston, and Atlanta.

  • Architect, design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting software development best practices
  • Conduct thorough code reviews ensuring code quality and consistent coding standards
  • Provide technical leadership and contribute to architectural discussions and decisions
  • Identify bottlenecks, bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems

  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
  • Experience in professional RDBMS development, with complex SQL knowledge
