Lead Software Engineer

Clarivate is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their Policy Automation team in India, focusing on building end-to-end data automation solutions. This role is perfect for someone passionate about coding and AI, with strong expertise in API development, Rule Engines, and Frontend Frameworks. The position is part of a dynamic team of 30+ professionals, with 80% based in India, working on innovative solutions for data acquisition and management processes.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Python development, strong database knowledge, and preferably experience with Angular frontend development. They will be responsible for designing and implementing a business rule engine, developing API endpoints, and working with both traditional AI and GenAI technologies. The role requires someone who can produce efficient, maintainable code while following best practices in software development.
