Lead Software Engineer

Clarivate is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their Policy Automation team in India. This role focuses on building an end-to-end data automation solution, combining traditional software engineering with AI/ML capabilities. The position is part of a dynamic 30+ member team, with 80% based in India, working on innovative solutions for data acquisition and management in the healthcare industry.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Python programming, database management, and API development, with additional experience in Angular and rule engines being highly valuable. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including both traditional AI and GenAI, while building scalable automation solutions.

Working in a hybrid environment, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing critical components of the data automation system, from API endpoints to business rule engines. The role demands a balance of technical expertise with strong collaborative skills, as you'll be working in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
