Machine Learning Engineer

Clarivate is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their Data Science and Search team, focusing on building cutting-edge search platforms and intelligent data services. This role sits at the intersection of search infrastructure, machine learning, and big data, offering an opportunity to work on solutions that power discovery, automation, and insight across the innovation lifecycle.

The position is part of a globally distributed team comprising Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Scientists, all dedicated to supporting Intellectual Property products at Clarivate. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in both software engineering and machine learning, with particular emphasis on search technologies and big data systems.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site at one of their US locations (Alexandria, VA, Ann Arbor, MI, or Philadelphia, PA). You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including ElasticSearch/Solr/Lucene, and cloud computing platforms with technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
