Description For Go To Market Engineer

As a Go-to-Market Engineer at Clay, you'll play a crucial role in our enterprise sales and thought partnership efforts. This high-profile position combines elements of Sales Engineering, Outbound Architecture, and Growth Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop expert-level understanding of Clay and stay updated on new features
  • Assist enterprise and middle-market companies in adopting and getting value from Clay
  • Translate customer learnings into content and product improvements
  • Participate in high-profile sales calls with prospective customers
  • Support existing customers and address their challenges
  • Help smaller customers adopt more Clay use cases in a "sales assist" motion

Ideal Candidate:

  • Has technical proficiency (background in Engineering, Growth, GTM Operations, Marketing Ops, or similar)
  • Possesses strong communication skills to explain complex tech stacks to non-technical people
  • Demonstrates genuine interest in sales and customer challenges
  • Embraces a cross-functional role and stays updated on emerging sales tech solutions
  • Has a product mindset and can translate customer feedback into product improvements
