Data Engineer

Cloudflare is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Self-Serve Team, which is responsible for their PLG business serving 8M+ customers across 20% of the internet. This is a founding data engineer role where you'll have the opportunity to shape the architecture and build systems that enable personalized user journeys through precise targeting. You'll be working on capturing and processing thousands of user events in a native architecture, serving both production use-cases and internal reporting.

The role requires expertise in building realtime data capturing architectures, implementing analytics systems at scale, and working with various data modeling methods. You'll be responsible for setting up data lakes, understanding A/B testing architectures, and building cloud tools. The position offers significant autonomy in choosing and implementing data architectures, whether building from scratch or expanding existing systems.
