Software Engineer - Engineering Platforms/Productivity

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Engineering Platforms/Productivity team. In this role, you'll be responsible for building and managing tools to help engineers deploy and operate services that make Cloudflare work. The mission is to provide a reliable, yet flexible, platform to help product teams release new software efficiently and safely.

You'll be working on designing and building scalable systems that can keep up with company growth, developing developer productivity tooling, and improving GitOps systems and practices. You'll also be involved in hardening the platform against security threats, improving resource management efficiency, and working closely with app teams to understand their challenges and help them choose the best way to architect their systems.

The ideal candidate should have experience with Bash, TypeScript, and Go, excellent debugging skills in a Linux environment, and experience with Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms. You should be able to break down complex problems, provide options, and discuss trade-offs.

Cloudflare offers a competitive salary range of $137,000 to $198,000, depending on location, along with equity participation. They provide a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and fertility benefits.
