Security Engineer, CloudKitchens

As a Security Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our security infrastructure. You'll be responsible for managing our 3rd party vulnerability database, creating processes for library upgrades, and building threat detection tools. This role requires a strong background in computer science or related fields, with 3-5 years of experience in security engineering. You'll work in a collaborative environment, contributing to an $80 billion market projected to reach $500 billion by 2030 in the US alone. The position is based in our Austin office, with a 5-day in-office work week. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and improve the 3rd party vulnerability Bill of Materials (BOM) database • Create processes for identifying and upgrading 3rd Party Libraries • Triage 3rd party libraries for relative risk • Build and improve tooling for threat detection • Escalate threat risks to senior staff • Proactively identify shortcomings in existing tooling and create novel solutions

Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field • 3-5 years of experience in security engineering • Strong ability to design and create long-lasting architecture • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to collaborate with non-engineering stakeholders
