CloudOps Engineer

CloudZero is seeking a CloudOps Engineer to join their growing CloudOps team focused on Developer Experience, SRE, and FinOps. This role is crucial for maintaining the reliability, performance, and observability of CloudZero's infrastructure, which processes billions of events daily across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The platform operates on a unique serverless architecture, handling massive data volumes and ensuring sub-second query performance across terabytes of data.

The position offers exciting challenges in scaling systems to support customers spending millions monthly in a modern, event-driven environment. You'll be responsible for Infrastructure as Code implementation using Pulumi, building comprehensive observability systems, and automating operational processes. The role requires collaboration with product engineering teams to design resilient services and create efficient deployment pipelines.

As a CloudOps Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of cloud cost optimization, working for a company that helps others optimize their cloud spend. The ideal candidate brings 3-5+ years of AWS experience, strong Python and Kubernetes skills, and a proven track record with monitoring tools. This hybrid position is based in Boston and requires current U.S. work authorization.
