Principal DevOps Engineer

We're seeking a seasoned Principal DevOps Engineer to join Coconut Software. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you'll collaborate with the CTO, Product, and Security teams to enhance our product and tackle complex technical challenges. As a senior technical leader, you'll develop a deep understanding of our infrastructure, leveraging advanced technical skills and cross-team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead devops initiatives, including research, scoping, design, and planning
• Guide architecture and contribute to determining product performance, scalability, and reliability
• Mentor and elevate the devops and engineering team
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions
• Collaborate across teams to drive critical objectives and make evidence-based decisions
• Set technical standards and best practices

Requirements:

• 15+ years of DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience
• Expertise in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD
• Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby)
• Experience with server architecture, DNS, ipv4/ipv6, acl
• MariaDB/MySQL and Redis management skills
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
