Staff Backend Engineer, Integrations Core

CoinTracker is a leading cryptocurrency portfolio tracking and tax compliance platform that has raised over $100M in venture capital from prestigious investors. The company tracks over $80B in cryptocurrency (approximately 5% of the entire crypto market) and has generated over 1M tax forms. As a Staff Backend Engineer in the Integrations Core team, you'll join a distributed team tackling complex technical challenges in the cryptocurrency space.

The role involves architecting and scaling backend systems to support millions of users and transactions, leading critical technical projects, and designing complex data processing pipelines. You'll work with technologies like Python, Flask, GraphQL, Postgres, BigTable, and Redis, while having the opportunity to influence technical direction and mentor other engineers.

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $210,000 to $240,000, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. You'll be working remotely with a team that values impact, trust, and clear communication. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of backend engineering experience, strong CS fundamentals, and expertise in data engineering domains.
