Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Compass, a revolutionary real estate technology company founded in 2012, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Cloud Infrastructure team. This role sits within the Foundational Infrastructure team, which is responsible for providing cloud-native infrastructure, automation, and tools that enable Compass engineering teams to build and deploy products securely and efficiently.

As a Senior Engineer on this team, you'll have the opportunity to shape key technology decisions that impact the broader engineering organization of over 200 engineers. The role requires expert-level industry skills in cloud infrastructure, particularly in areas such as Kubernetes/Compute Infrastructure and Cloud Networking. You'll be working with technologies like HAProxy, Istio, Envoy, and managing complex networking configurations including DNS, BGP, TGW, and VPC Peering.

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $131K to $197K annually, plus bonuses and restricted stock units.
