As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be responsible for architecting and managing their critical AWS infrastructure. The role combines technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, security, and DevOps practices with a mission to save lives through technology.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $175,000 – $200,000, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. You'll be working with a team of distinguished computer vision engineers, software architects, and data scientists from the self-driving car industry, alongside insurance professionals who understand workers' compensation policies.
Key responsibilities include designing highly reliable and scalable systems, implementing Infrastructure-as-Code, managing AWS services, optimizing performance and costs, and ensuring robust security practices. You'll need 7+ years of hands-on AWS experience, strong infrastructure automation skills, and deep knowledge of cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities For Senior Infrastructure Engineer
- Plan, build, and deploy a highly reliable and scalable infrastructure, including robust authentication and cybersecurity practices
- Manage and automate AWS infrastructure using core services (EC2, Lambda, etc.) and Infrastructure-as-Code
- Implement comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions, optimize infrastructure performance, and manage costs
- Architect and maintain highly available and fault-tolerant infrastructure
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments, integrating infrastructure changes efficiently
- Implement and maintain robust security practices, including IAM policy and role management
- Design and implement disaster recovery strategies, and maintain thorough infrastructure documentation
Requirements For Senior Infrastructure Engineer
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of hands-on experience managing advanced AWS infrastructure, including core services and architecture
- Proven ability to automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Strong experience in utilizing AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and log aggregation tools for effective system monitoring
- Deep knowledge of AWS security best practices and demonstrated ability to optimize infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency
- Solid understanding of AWS networking principles and excellent troubleshooting capabilities for infrastructure and application issues
