Backend Developer

CompuGroup Medical Italia Group, part of the multinational e-health leader CompuGroup Medical SE, is seeking a Senior Backend Developer for an important international project. This role is crucial in creating next-generation healthcare solutions using cutting-edge technology. The position involves working with an international team to design and develop flexible, customizable, user-centered interfaces that will shape the future of healthcare delivery worldwide.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire development process, from design to implementation, focusing on creating specialized and high-quality software for CGM clients. This role requires strong expertise in Java/Kotlin development, microservices architecture, and API design, with at least 5 years of experience. The position offers the opportunity to work on systems that will be used by healthcare professionals across the globe, whether for single users or hosted solutions serving thousands of workstations.

Key responsibilities include participating in agile processes, delivering high-quality code, collaborating with product owners and architects, and maintaining technical documentation. The role requires strong technical skills in Java/Kotlin, microservices, API development, and database management, along with knowledge of cryptography and security implementations.
