Founding AI / ML Engineer

Concourse is building AI agents for corporate finance teams, focusing on automating manual and time-consuming work through an AI analyst platform. As a Founding AI & ML Engineer, you'll lead engineering efforts for AI products including the Concourse AI Analyst.

The role combines technical expertise in AI/ML with a strong ownership mentality. You'll be responsible for building and scaling infrastructure for LLM processing, fine-tuning models, and developing backend integrations with financial systems. The position requires experience with modern AI technologies, particularly LLMs, and a passion for applying AI in finance.

We're looking for someone who understands the transformative potential of AI in enterprise settings and is excited to tackle challenging problems in uncharted territory. The ideal candidate brings both technical depth and entrepreneurial spirit, having either worked with ML/LLMs professionally or demonstrated passion through personal projects.

Our tech stack includes Python for ML/LLMs (using OpenAI/Anthropic), React for frontend, and TypeScript/NodeJS for backend. We integrate with various financial data sources including ERPs, banks, CRMs, and HRIS systems.

As a founding team member, you'll have significant influence over technical decisions and company culture. We offer competitive compensation ($150K-$225K salary plus 0.50%-2.00% equity) and emphasize continuous learning and ownership. The role is based in New York, NY.
