Contentsquare, a global leader in experience analytics, is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join their Development, Security, and Operations Team (DevSecOps). This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of digital security, protecting both products and customers in a rapidly growing SaaS environment.

The position requires a seasoned professional with 3-5 years of security operations experience, who will report directly to the Director of Cyber Security. Based in either Barcelona or Paris, you'll be responsible for managing security incidents, developing internal security tools, and maintaining robust security systems across the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in cloud security, with hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and modern DevSecOps tools. You'll work with cutting-edge security technologies, including SIEM platforms, Web Application Firewalls, and various security monitoring tools. The role demands strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities For Senior Cyber Security Engineer

  • Respond to security incidents and develop preventive measures
  • Develop security utilities and tools for internal use
  • Design and maintain security alerts and automated actions
  • Audit technical platform and applications for security compliance
  • Lead new technology selection and implementation
  • Coordinate responses to security events across teams
  • Manage security detection capabilities including SIEM and WAF
  • Participate in regular on-call responsibilities
  • Establish and improve Security Monitoring & Incident Response capabilities

Requirements For Senior Cyber Security Engineer

  • 3-5 years of practical experience in Security Operations
  • Experience building detection and response programs for SaaS
  • Experience with security tooling and DevOps pipeline integration
  • Knowledge of web protocols, security issues, and common attacks
  • Expertise with SIEM and incident platforms
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools
  • Strong understanding of security concepts and methodologies
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus)
  • Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST frameworks
