Senior Software Engineer, Video Transcoding

As a Senior Software Engineer, Video Transcoding at Crunchyroll, you will play an integral part in building the future of Anime streaming. You'll help build video ingestion, transcoding, and packaging workflows that create assets to delight Anime fans globally. You'll collaborate with other software engineers and product teams to implement software solutions, analyze and build solutions related to video processing, mentor junior engineers, and drive best engineering practices.

You should have: • 8+ years of experience crafting software solutions used globally by millions • Knowledge of video transcoding and packaging workflows • Experience with modern programming languages like TypeScript and Go • Experience with cloud technologies in AWS or GCP • Experience building serverless oriented microservices • Expertise in current video streaming technologies
