Sr. Automation Engineer

CSL Behring, a global leader in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join their team in Kankakee, IL. This role is crucial for maintaining and improving the plant's automation systems, particularly focusing on Building Management System Automation and utility systems. The position combines technical expertise in PLC systems, BAS/BMS (Metasys) systems, and HVAC controls with the challenges of working in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of automation/controls experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with strong knowledge of industrial automation systems, including HMIs and motor control systems. You'll be responsible for system diagnostics, programming, troubleshooting, and implementing continuous improvements to enhance safety and system reliability.
