Responsibilities For Senior Software Development Engineer in Test
- Create testing tools and simulators
- Automate testing processes
- Develop and maintain web automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and Nightwatch JS
- Conduct various types of tests including conformance, integration, functional, end-to-end, acceptance, performance, and smoke testing
- Report defects and conduct root cause analysis
- Represent team at QA Chapter meetings
- Participate in Agile ceremonies
- Participate in technical discussions across teams
- Provide developer support for CI/CD and production system troubleshooting
- Assist with Severity 1 or 2 production issues as needed
Requirements For Senior Software Development Engineer in Test
- 5+ Years of experience in Testing and QA domain
- Leadership in defining team's quality practices
- Experience with Python, Selenium and Cypress automation frameworks
- Experience with OOP, preferably Python and/or Java, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of databases, preferably InfluxDB and MongoDB
- Experience with microservices architectures
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of test automation tools for client, backend, and end-to-end testing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
