Senior Cyber Security Engineer

cyDaptiv Solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to support critical Federal and DoD cybersecurity initiatives. The role involves leveraging expertise in RMF and A&A processes to safeguard mission-critical systems. This position offers the unique opportunity to work in Hawaii and contribute directly to national defense efforts, with the support of a company committed to professional growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the implementation of DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) for IT systems
• Utilizing DoD approved tools like ACAS/Nessus and SCAP for security assessments
• Preparing systems for Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRIs)
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and providing strategic cybersecurity guidance

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering (preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in DoD RMF, Computer Network Defense (CND) or Information Assurance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional certifications meeting DoD 8570.01-1M/DoDD 8140 requirements for IAM Level III
• Active Top-Secret clearance
