Responsibilities For DevTools Engineer

  • Take full ownership of internal devtools and related platforms, from design & development to troubleshooting and bugfixing
  • Evaluate, integrate, and manage third-party developer tools and services
  • Automate tasks in the development workflow and software release process
  • Build and maintain tools for monitoring, logging, and debugging applications and infrastructure
  • Support engineering teams by providing solutions and advocating best practices
  • Create and maintain documentation for developer tools and processes

Requirements For DevTools Engineer

Kubernetes
Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience in developer productivity focused role
  • Experience with designing, building, and maintaining internal tools and infrastructure
  • Experience with CI/CD systems, containers and orchestration, scripting and automation
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
