Description For Site Reliability Engineer (Mid-level)

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a mid-level Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their team supporting the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS). This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on cloud operations and infrastructure automation in both classified and unclassified environments.

The position involves critical responsibilities in system design, solution engineering, and continuous monitoring. As an SRE, you'll be instrumental in maintaining and improving cloud operations, implementing infrastructure automation, and developing observability solutions. The role requires strong technical expertise combined with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders about software development lifecycle documentation.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in a technical field. This position requires US citizenship and an active Secret clearance or interim Secret clearance, highlighting the important nature of the work. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $130,000 to $170,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer (Mid-level)

  • Provide critical expertise in system requirements, Solution Engineering, and System Design Documentation
  • Study complex IT organizations to generate and track requirements
  • Lead solution engineering, analysis of alternatives, and system design
  • Discover and report discrepancies between enterprise architecture and system designs
  • Communicate with stakeholders about software development lifecycle documentation
  • Provide continuous monitoring support
  • Onboard tenants to SSO, monitoring, and other common services
