DeepSource Technologies is seeking a Cloud Automation Engineer to spearhead their infrastructure automation initiatives. This role combines DevOps expertise with cloud platform management, requiring a skilled professional with 5+ years of experience. The position involves designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, managing CI/CD pipelines, and working with multiple cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes, while being able to leverage VMware automation and the Aria stack. This hybrid position, based in Cairo, Egypt, offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud automation solutions while mentoring team members and driving best practices in infrastructure automation. The role requires both technical depth in cloud technologies and the ability to collaborate effectively with development, operations, and security teams to align infrastructure automation with business objectives.
Responsibilities For Cloud Automation Engineer
- Develop and maintain reusable and scalable IaC templates using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure
- Implement and manage infrastructure automation solutions using VMware tools
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment
- Work with platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Enable cloud-native architectures and containerized environments
- Monitor infrastructure performance and implement auto-scaling
- Maintain documentation of automation scripts, pipelines, and architecture
- Provide training and mentorship to team members
Requirements For Cloud Automation Engineer
- Advanced knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions)
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with VMware automation platforms and Aria stack
- Familiarity with Git and GitOps workflows
- Hands-on experience with major cloud providers
- Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure automation or DevOps
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL practices
- Relevant certifications (Terraform, AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes) preferred
