The position offers a competitive salary range of $170,000-$190,000 and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area with a hybrid work arrangement.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex datacenter operations, system monitoring, and providing technical support for both on-site and remote users. Key responsibilities include overseeing hardware/software inventory, managing network engineering, and administering Office 365/Entra systems. The role requires expertise in various technologies including virtualization platforms, Linux/Unix systems, and automation tools.

Responsibilities For Senior Systems Engineer
- Conduct daily system monitoring for hardware, server resources, systems, and critical processes
- Deliver OS, application, hardware, and VoIP support for users
- Manage hardware and software inventory
- Oversee datacenter responsibilities including network engineering and SAN/NAS management
- Develop and maintain system documentation
- Participate in IT project planning and deployment
- Administer Office 365/Entra and Intune management
- Manage and support internal software applications
Requirements For Senior Systems Engineer
- 10+ years of experience in systems administration or engineering
- 2+ years of Palo Alto Experience
- Experience with datacenter technologies
- Proficiency with virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V)
- Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Intermediate experience with Linux/Unix systems
- Strong scripting and automation skills
- Familiarity with RMM and NMS tools
