Description For Quantitative Developer

Desjardins Investments is seeking a Quantitative Developer to join their Structured Product Development and Management team. This role combines software engineering expertise with financial engineering, focusing on developing and maintaining critical systems for structured products and derivatives trading.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and finance, developing core business systems and quantitative models essential for managing structured products. You'll be part of a team responsible for market-linked guaranteed investments (MLGIs), structured notes for retail investors, and equity derivatives for institutional partners.

As a Quantitative Developer, you'll collaborate with traders, product managers, sales teams, treasury, and various other departments to create sophisticated analytical tools for transaction valuation. The role requires strong programming skills in languages like C#, Python, and SQL, combined with deep knowledge of quantitative finance and derivatives.

The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of experience and a strong educational background in financial engineering, computer science, or related fields. Knowledge of Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps is essential, as is proficiency in both French and English.

Desjardins offers an attractive compensation package including competitive salary, annual bonus, excellent benefits, and a defined benefit pension plan.
