Data Engineer (DE11) - October 2024

Digital Futures Academy is offering a Data Engineer (DE11) position starting October 2024. This role is part of their mission to create opportunities in technology careers. The journey begins with 12 weeks of free immersive training, covering essential technical and professional skills for Data Engineering. Training includes coding fundamentals (Python, SQL), data modeling, ETL, data pipelines, cloud technologies, and professional skills. After training, you'll be employed by Digital Futures and placed with a client.

Key aspects of the role:

• Design and implement data pipelines
• Build and maintain ETL processes
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts
• Troubleshoot data pipeline and infrastructure issues
• Design and maintain data storage solutions
• Ensure data security and follow best practices
• Stay updated with new data engineering technologies

The ideal candidate should have:

No formal education or experience in tech is required, but you must have the right to work in the UK. The program offers a progressive salary structure: Year 1 £27,500, Year 2 £32,000, Year 3 £35,000 + benefits. You'll also achieve AWS Solution Architect Associate and AWS Data Engineer Associate certifications.
