As an Associate Security Engineer on the Security Development and Design team, you'll be responsible for protecting network and company assets from security threats through the development of security automation capabilities. You'll work on designing, developing and implementing security automation tools and sites to help our customers focus on areas of risk.
The role combines DevOps engineering with security focus, requiring expertise in:
- CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform
- Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Security tooling and automation
- Monitoring and observability
- Scripting and development in Python and shell languages

Responsibilities For Associate Security Engineer, Software Engineer (Devops)
- Assist in architecting code deployment pipelines using Gitlab or similar CI/CD processes
- Optimize security tool deployments and introduce scalable processes across Cyber Security capabilities
- Contribute and collaborate with other Information Security team members
- Design, develop, and implement platforms needed to host Applications
- Build and maintain runbooks for application support
- Design and maintain monitoring for all aspects of the applications as needed
- Communicate vertically and horizontally to keep stakeholders informed
Requirements For Associate Security Engineer, Software Engineer (Devops)
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, and Powershell
- Knowledge of Opensearch, PostgreSQL, and other data storage platforms
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, Google Deployment Manager
- Ability to learn and maintain cutting edge skills in Unix/Linux, Application Security, Vulnerability Management
- Good organization skills and attention to detail
- Professional written, verbal, and presentation communications skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field
