Description For Direct Channel Strategy & Activation Marketing Campaign Developer

The Direct Channel Strategy and Activation (DCS&A) team at Disney focuses on delivering powerful customer experiences across engagement touch points by applying data and tools to bring marketing to life. This role involves leading consumer data selection for 1:1 marketing campaigns and managing deployment of direct channel tactics.

As a Marketing Campaign Developer, you'll be working in a hybrid setup (Monday-Thursday in office, Friday remote) reporting to the Manager of Direct Channel Strategy & Activation. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end marketing campaign flows using tools like Adobe Campaign and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing SQL queries and analyzing large datasets in Snowflake database
  • Translating technical details into compelling campaign visions
  • Creating user efficiencies and innovative solutions
  • Monitoring automated marketing campaigns
  • Performing comprehensive testing and quality assurance
  • Working with marketing partners to prioritize campaigns

The role combines technical expertise with creative marketing, requiring skills in multiple programming languages (Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML) and experience with email delivery platforms. You'll be part of Disney Experiences, which brings Disney stories to life through theme parks, resorts, cruise ships, and unique vacation experiences worldwide.
