Description For Disneyland Facilities Management Engineering Intern, Fall 2025

Join the Disneyland Resort's Facilities Shared Services Division as an Engineering Intern for an exciting opportunity to develop professionally in the world of Facilities and Project Management. This full-time internship runs from June 2025 to December 2025 in Anaheim, CA, offering hands-on experience in supporting attractions, maintenance, foods, merchandise, and entertainment operations. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and trades professionals, gaining practical knowledge while contributing to real projects.

The role combines both office and field work, requiring flexibility in scheduling. You'll assist with project coordination, conduct site inspections, prepare documentation, and participate in planning and estimation activities. This position offers excellent exposure to facilities management in one of the world's most renowned entertainment destinations.

As an intern, you'll receive competitive compensation ($30-35/hour based on education level) and select benefits. Responsibilities For Disneyland Facilities Management Engineering Intern, Fall 2025

  • Assist in planning, coordination and execution of projects
  • Provide on-site review, inspections and reports of work in progress
  • Produce/compile Onboarding documentation for various Trades
  • Assist with Job Plan reviews and Future Operations planning
  • Coordinate scheduled field activities with all affected parties
  • Participate in estimating walks and assist with project estimates

Requirements For Disneyland Facilities Management Engineering Intern, Fall 2025

  • Currently enrolled as Junior, Senior or Graduate student in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Prior related work experience desired
  • Strong leadership, technical and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in reading blueprints, working in Maximo and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera project planning software
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
