Principal Software Engineer C++, Embedded Web Engine

As part of the Product & Data Engineering team, you'll be responsible for end-to-end development of Disney's world-class consumer-facing products, including streaming platforms Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.

The Hulu Client Engineering team is seeking a Principal Embedded Web Engine Engineer to architect, design and build their next generation Native Client Platform. This platform will power Hulu across various living room devices while supporting existing native tech stacks. You'll have the unique opportunity to set the long-term vision for technical strategy and push the boundaries of what's possible on 10-foot devices.

As a principal engineer/architect, you'll need expert-level skills in writing cross-platform code, deep understanding of supporting multiple client platforms using web standards, and the ability to push UX boundaries on custom in-house runtime. The role demands tenacity, resilience, self-direction, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with minimal direction.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $184,300 to $270,700 depending on location and experience, plus potential bonuses and long-term incentives.
