Senior Rockwork Engineer (PH)

Walt Disney Imagineering is seeking a Senior Rockwork Engineer to lead the design and engineering of complex rockwork structures for theme parks, resorts, and attractions. This role involves technical coordination, project leadership, and innovative problem-solving in a unique blend of creative and engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and engineering of complex rockwork structures
• Coordinate rockwork design documents, models, and specifications with various disciplines
• Facilitate quality assurance and control for design documentation and field construction
• Direct project team members and consultants on technical scope of work
• Provide expertise on rockwork design, construction details, and standards
• Monitor work progress and ensure technical quality and coordination requirements are met
• Respond to construction bid questions and resolve field issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer license in Civil Engineering
• 6+ years of experience in structural and/or rockwork engineering
• 2+ years leading a small team in producing construction contract documents
• Working knowledge of structural engineering, including current technologies and codes
• Experience with 3D CAD and analytical software for structural engineering design
• Construction phase experience including submittal reviews and on-site inspections

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of structural design programs (SAP2000, ETABS, RISA)
• Experience with 3D modeling software (Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Navisworks, BIM360)
• California SE registration
• Advanced degree in structural engineering
