Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology, you'll be part of a global organization that builds and advances the technological backbone for Disney's media business globally. The role involves working on the development and advancement of technical functions driving worldwide distribution and monetization of Disney's linear networks and theatrical content.

You'll use your expertise in coding, DevOps, and data technologies to design, implement, and test scalable solutions that enhance Disney's diverse suite of products and services. These products help advance Disney's media supply chain, powering some of the most watched entertainment content in the world, including Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu, ABC, Marvel, and National Geographic.

The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you'll collaborate with other Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, Product Owners, and various stakeholders. You'll be responsible for planning, designing, prototyping, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting workflows for a lean, fast-paced media supply chain.

Key responsibilities include developing high-quality application code, providing technical guidance, contributing to code reviews, ensuring platform performance and scalability, and mentoring junior engineers. You'll work with technologies like Java, Spring, AWS cloud services, microservice architectures, and various database technologies.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $138,900 to $186,200 per year, plus potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
