Senior Software Engineer

This role sits in the Disney Cruise Line organization within Technology & Digital for Disney Experiences. The Senior Software Engineer position focuses on creating and supporting the Disney Cruise Line services used by the Disney Cruise Line Mobile app. You'll be working with a team responsible for developing and maintaining large or highly sophisticated software programs and systems.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be leading small projects, writing code at the component level, and working on commercial and end-user applications. The role requires strong programming skills, particularly in Java 17 and Spring Boot, and the ability to design highly scalable software systems. You'll interact directly with users to gather requirements and implement solutions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, be comfortable in an agile environment, and have a strong background in Java development. You'll be joining a team that powers the digital experiences for one of the world's most renowned entertainment companies, working on systems that directly impact guest experiences across Disney's cruise line operations.
