Senior Software Engineer - Android

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Android team, working on the technological backbone of Disney's media business globally. This role is part of the Product Engineering team responsible for Disney Entertainment & ESPN digital and streaming products and platforms.

The position focuses on the Disney eXperience Composer (DXC), a bespoke solution for serving interactive experiences to users. You'll work with Disney Markup Language (DML) and be responsible for the Renderer component, directly impacting millions of global consumers' experiences with Disney's streaming services.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be working in a highly collaborative environment, contributing to the design and implementation of features that expand the Renderer's capabilities. The role requires expertise in Kotlin development, strong understanding of Android ecosystems, and experience with consumer-facing interactive experiences.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $138,900 to $203,900 depending on location (LA, SF, NY, or Seattle), plus potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
