Senior Software Engineer - Android

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Android team. This role is part of the Disney eXperience Composer (DXC) team, working on a bespoke solution for serving interactive experiences to users.

The DXC team is responsible for developing and maintaining the Renderer component, which processes Disney Markup Language (DML) to deliver interactive experiences to millions of global consumers. This position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that directly impacts user experience across Disney's streaming platforms.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Collaborate on the specification and design of Disney Markup Language (DML)
• Design, implement, and test features expanding the Renderer's capabilities
• Support integration with Client engineers across Disney's streaming brands
• Work with world-class teams building the technological foundation for Disney's media business

The role offers competitive compensation, with base salary ranges of:

• Los Angeles: $138,900 to $186,200
• San Francisco: $152,100 to $203,900
• New York/Seattle: $145,400 to $195,000
