Senior Software Engineer - Data Platform

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Data Platform team. This role is embedded in the Compute team that runs the Data Lake platform powering analytics, operations, and data science for flagship streaming applications including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and Star+.

The Product & Data Engineering team is responsible for end-to-end development of Disney's world-class consumer-facing products, driving innovation at scale for millions of consumers worldwide. You'll work on understanding and solving data challenges while pushing technological boundaries using AWS, Databricks, and other cutting-edge tools.

As a key player in this role, you'll build software for large-scale data processing ecosystems, maintain engineering best practices, and partner with countless teams using the Data Lake platform.
