Senior Software Engineer - Full-Stack, React

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Commerce, Growth, and Identity Fraud team. This role is part of a transformative initiative focused on building the future of Disney's media business, particularly in streaming and digital products.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on fraud prevention and risk mitigation systems, building solutions that protect Disney's digital commerce infrastructure. You'll be developing services powered by machine learning, integrating third-party services, and working with various global data sets. The role is highly cross-functional, involving collaboration with Product, Information Security, Data, Analytics, Business Operations, and Finance teams.

As part of the Commerce, Growth, & Identity (CGI) team, you'll be contributing to business-critical areas that help transform Disney's media business. The team creates seamless user experiences for consumers, enabling flexible subscription plans and building innovative capabilities to drive subscriptions, engagement, and monetization across Disney's streaming and digital products.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $138,900 to $203,900 depending on location, with additional benefits and bonus potential. You'll be working in a hybrid environment across several possible locations including New York, Seattle, San Francisco, and Santa Monica.

The role requires expertise in full-stack development, with a focus on React and Java/Scala microservices. You'll be working with cloud technologies, particularly AWS services, and will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
