Senior Software Engineer - iOS

Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Apple team. This role is part of the Disney eXperience Composer team, working on a bespoke solution for serving interactive experiences to users. The position involves developing and maintaining the Renderer component, which uses Disney Markup Language (DML) to deliver interactive experiences to millions of global consumers.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, collaborative, and technical, with strong leadership abilities and experience in Swift/SwiftUI development. You'll work on designing and implementing features that expand the Renderer's capabilities while supporting integration across Disney's streaming brands.

As part of Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology, you'll be at the heart of building and advancing the technological backbone for Disney's media business globally. The team combines technology with creativity to build world-class products, enhance storytelling, and drive innovation for products like Disney+, Hulu, ABC News, and ESPN+.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $138,900 to $203,900 depending on location, plus potential bonuses and long-term incentives. You'll be part of a global organization of engineers, product developers, and technologists working on products that reach millions of consumers every minute of every day.

Key responsibilities include participating in DML specification design, implementing Renderer features, and supporting client engineers across Disney's streaming platforms. The position requires 5+ years of front-end development experience, strong Swift/SwiftUI skills, and a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals.
