Description For Software Engineer - Fullstack

Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to join their Quality, Targeting, and Experience team within Media Engineering. This role combines frontend and backend development, focusing on building intelligent tools for managing media delivery from servers to customers. The position involves creating solutions to bridge existing tools, external partners, and internal stakeholders.

The team is responsible for critical streaming platform components including CDN routing optimization, playback quality, and piracy detection. Working with cutting-edge technologies like Python, JavaScript, Go, PostgreSQL, and AWS services, you'll be part of building the technological foundation for Disney's global media business.

As a Fullstack Engineer, you'll design and develop user interfaces and their supporting APIs, translate technical plans into well-defined tasks, and take ownership of team initiatives. The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a self-directed environment.
