This role is part of a global organization that builds and advances the technological backbone for Disney's media business. The position focuses on developing the Disney+ Direct-to-Consumer client app for Roku streaming devices and smart TVs, delivering content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Hulu, ESPN, NatGeo, and ABC News.
The role involves working with BrightScript and the Roku SceneGraph SDK to create user interfaces and implement various features from onboarding to video playback experiences. You'll have opportunities to work on JavaScript & React-based web tools, gulp build scripts, AWS configurations, and Node.js services. The position requires collaboration with various teams including SDK engineering, design engineering, and product owners.
