We're seeking a hands-on Android Engineer to join our team developing mobile applications for ESPN within the Android ecosystem. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while contributing to world-class Disney apps that reach millions of users globally.

As an Android Engineer, you'll:
- Develop using Java/Kotlin and modern Android frameworks like Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Hilt
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers
- Build and enhance features for ESPN's Android applications
- Contribute to architectural decisions and drive technical excellence
- Troubleshoot across multiple Android devices and OS versions
The ideal candidate will have:
- 0-2 years of Android development experience
- Strong foundation in Java/Kotlin and object-oriented programming
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Familiarity with Android app lifecycle and development environment
- Experience with RESTful APIs and modern Android frameworks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
