Description For Software Engineer I

Technology is at the heart of Disney's past, present, and future. As part of the Living Room Devices, Native Client Platform (NCP Client) engineering team, you will help build the Disney+ Direct-to-Consumer client app for streaming Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Hulu, ESPN, NatGeo, and ABC News content on PlayStation, Xbox, cable set-top-boxes, and smart TVs.

The role involves developing client app experiences in the Rust programming language, working on features from onboarding to browse UI/UX experiences, analytics, and video playback. You'll collaborate with Sony, Microsoft, and other partners to vet new hardware, firmware, and certification requirements.
