The position involves working with cutting-edge streaming technology, where you'll be responsible for building client app experiences using BrightScript and the Roku SceneGraph SDK. As a Software Engineer II, you'll have the chance to work on diverse technical challenges, including JavaScript & React-based web tools, gulp build scripts, AWS configurations, and Node.js services. The role requires collaboration with various teams, including client SDK engineering, design engineering, and services engineering, ensuring seamless integration and consistent user experiences across platforms.
The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $114,900 to $168,700 depending on location (Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, or San Francisco), plus potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits. This is a hybrid role, primarily on-site with occasional work from home flexibility.
The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of client-side development experience, strong knowledge of MVVM architecture, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Experience with BrightScript is ideal but not required.
