Responsibilities For Software Engineer II

  • Develop features for the Disney+ iOS, Apple TV (tvOS), and visionOS applications using Swift
  • Build and maintain high-quality, testable code and contribute unit and integration tests
  • Participate in code reviews to promote shared knowledge and technical excellence
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with client platform teams
  • Work within an agile development environment
  • Contribute to documentation and support onboarding of new engineers
  • Attend and contribute to sprint ceremonies, design reviews, and stand-ups

Requirements For Software Engineer II

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 2 years of professional iOS development experience, including 1+ years using Swift
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI
  • Ability to write and maintain unit-tested code
  • Solid grasp of Computer Science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, concurrency)
  • Experience working in an agile team setting
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
