The role involves solving interesting technical challenges like scaling technology for global audiences, implementing real-time updates during live events, supporting international languages and sports, and building accessible components. You'll work with JavaScript frameworks to manipulate data and create engaging user experiences.

Responsibilities For Software Engineer II(Front-End)

  • Build components and modules that are used by millions of fans around the world
  • Bring our UI to life by connecting components to live APIs
  • Partner with other engineering teams to solve problems while considering performance, scalability, caching, resiliency
  • Work with native teams to develop seamless webview integrations within the ESPN app
  • Support live event coverage and triage issues

Requirements For Software Engineer II(Front-End)
